a friend of mine is looking to get her first tattoo... so I came up with this concept. not sure if she'll like it or not, but i do. this is my second ever design intended for tattoo ... i don't have a copy of the first design i did, but am getting a picture of the finished result in a couple days, i'll post when i do. anyway, point is, critique is welcome and appreciated... but please bear in mind that my scanning of this piece didn't go so well, so the 'jaggies' present here are not on the actual piece. (tips on how to scan the image successfully would be great

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. as for the scanning, i wasn't too far off, which is very reassuring. i think i played with both line art and grayscale, and figured out the greyscale being better bit (heh. many 'b' sounds that). didn't think of resolution (/me is a tard at times) ... thanks for the tip!
